About Heather

I have always loved creating spaces. My mom would always say she never knew what she would find in my room as a child.

I grew up in Texas, New Mexico and Kansas so I have a deep love of all things leather, worn and authentic.

I graduated with a degree in Journalism and minor in Public Relations from Baylor University. After college, I was hired by Dallas-based Anteks Home Furnishings to help with their marketing and public relations. After six months, Anteks asked me to move to Kansas City to open and manage their new location.

I knew immediately how much I loved working with people and helping them create the perfect space. Our store flourished, and I was proud of this first adventure. This company saw something in me that I was still learning to love. I like to call this my hands-on design school.

In 1999, I married my college love, Bryan, and moved to Little Rock, Arkansas. It was bittersweet to walk away from the beautiful store I helped create. But it wasn’t long before I met Carissa Meyer who was looking for someone to open a second location of her Nashville store in Little Rock. Carissa hired me in 2000 and we opened the store a year later. For six years, we enjoyed a successful business together, but eventually decided family was becoming more important to us both. Carissa closed the Little Rock location and I transitioned to working retail and designing for Little Rock’s Cobblestone and Vine. During my five years there, I started building life long clients and relationships.

By that point, Bryan and I had three children. I took a break from designing to raise our kids, but three years later, my good friend Sarah Finley of Finley Design Group asked me to come help her design on some projects. What I had planned to be only a year or two ended up being 8 wonderful years.

In 2020, after what felt like years in the making, I started Fuller Design Co. Starting a new business during a global pandemic felt risky, but with people trapped inside, many were looking for help creating homes they loved to be in, and right out of the gate, I was busy creating beautiful spaces. I continue to be very thankful God has provided so many opportunities and friendships along the way.

I will always be most proud of the beautiful children and family my husband and I have created. My husband is a wonderful and loved OB/GYN and our children, Molly Kate, born in 2000, Parker, born in 2004, and Jake, born in 2005, are strong, talented children. We couldn’t be more proud of them.

I feel so blessed that I’ve been able to raise my children in a loving home, and for the trajectory that my life has taken to bring me to this point. Now, it’s time to spend the next part of my life moving forward toward a life-long dream, with even more exciting things to come.

Until then, I can’t wait to help you design a space that feels like home.
